Cao Dai temple or Great Holy See temple – the headquarters of the Cao Dai religion – a religion with colorful mix of Buddhism, Christianity, Taoism and Confucianism. It was built in 1926. First found by Ngo Van Chieu in 1923, by 1930 there were half a million followers and over 2 million now. Here visitors will attend the fantastic midday service when the followers fill the hall wearing colored robes, a symbol of the curious combination of the Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism. After lunch, visitor will go to Cu Chi tunnels. a popular spot for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors with a tunnels system of over 220 km. It is 70 kilometers far from Ho Chi Minh City. It was an underground city with living areas, kitchens, storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers. In places, it was housed up to 10,000 people who virtually lived underground for years.... getting married, giving birth. From 1988, two sections of tunnels have been open for visitors. Here visitors will see the remnants of a free target zone which prove the fierce battleground during American war.
